Our History

Committed to Making a Difference

In 2014, Founders set out to make a difference in the lives of youth and young adults in the State of Georgia by providing programmatic insights, Total Quality Control/Management, and best practices for United Way of Greater Atlanta and its many youth service providers; tooling youth-serving organizations and their leadership teams within the five (5) major metro counties.

In 2019 as a Carolina Grant recipient, founders launched The GRY Project as a Community Engagement project. Funded as a named recipient of the Carolina Grant forging a partnership with national organizations and local partners like the New Georgia Project from 2019 to 2021, creating innovative engagements statewide to galvanize 18 - 29 year old young adults in the 2020 and 2021 Presidential and Senatorial race.

The GRY Project has since expanded into Georgia Reconnecting Youth INC as a 501 (c) 3 in order to expand access to information and resources to achieve sustainable permanency through access to skill training and resources. The Gry Project's programs and services ultimately ensure young adults of the community have a chance to reach their fullest potential through increased access to middle and advanced certifications, experiential projects, and coaching.
